Band Leader Shawn Candelaria has been leading worship for over ten years. He has played guitar and bass in various worship settings and has sung in high school and college choirs, as well as in the Continental Singers. He has also served as a youth minister, day care teacher, and camp high school teacher. He currently is looking forward to his second year as a junior high teacher of  World History and English. He has an A.A. degree from Crafton Hills College, has recently completed a B.A. in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication at Azusa Pacific University, and plans to do graduate work in theology and church history. In his spare time he writes music and takes care of his pet rabbit Buffalo.
